Sensex up 90pts; Wipro, REL gain 2%

The Sensex is now up 90 points at 12,814.

Tata Steel has surged 2.5% to Rs 515. Wipro and Reliance Energy have gained 2% each to Rs 561 and Rs 461, respectively.

Reliance, Bharti Airtel and BHEL have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 1,215, Rs 499 and Rs 2,452, respectively.

Hindalco, Ranbaxy, SBI and Gujarat Ambuja are up over 1% each.

Out of 2,346 stocks traded so far, 1,499 have advanced, 770 have declined and 77 are unchanged.
