Sensex up 91pts; ITC, HDFC Bank lead

The Sensex touched a high of 12,422, and is now up 91 points at 12,412.

ITC and HDFC Bank have gained 1.3% each at Rs 186 and Rs 899, respectively.

HDFC, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank and NTPC are up 1% each at Rs 1,435, Rs 483, Rs 685 and Rs 128, respectively.

Cipla, Tata Motors, Hindalco and Satyam are the other smart gainers.
