Sensex up 91pts, Satyam zooms 5%

The Sensex has moved up 1.3% (91 points) to 7,211.

Infosys has moved up 2.5% (Rs 57) to Rs 2,382. Satyam is up 5% (Rs25) at Rs 513. TCS is still up Rs 17 at Rs 1,350. Wipro is down Rs 8 at Rs 746.

ITC is still up 1.6% (Rs 25) at Rs 1,640. ONGC has gained 2.7% (Rs 27) to Rs  1,021. Reliance is steady at Rs 644 - up Rs 2.

HDFC Bank has zoomed 4.3% (Rs 26) to Rs 628. SBI, HDFC and ICICI Bank are steady at higher levels.

ACC has advanced Rs 5 (1.4%) to Rs 383. Bajaj is still up Rs 28 at Rs 1,382.

Hindalco, Hero Honda, Cipla and Grasim are also trading with gains.

Century Textiles has advanced 8% (Rs 22) to Rs 282.

Declining shares are inching up - out of 2,481 scrips traded, 1,342 are up, 1,066 have declined and 73 are unchanged.

HDFC Bank continues to be the most active counter with a turnover of Rs 823 crore followed by Reliance Capital (Rs 248 crore) and Satyam (Rs 95 crore).
