Sensex up 93pts; cement stocks perk up

The Sensex is now up 93 points at 13,562.

HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank have rallied around 4% each to Rs 1,122 and Rs 916, respectively. SBI has advanced 3% to Rs 1,215.

Cement stocks have witnessed fresh buying. Gujarat Ambuja and ACC have surged around 2.5% each to Rs 141 and Rs 1,044, respectively. Grasim has moved up 1.7% to Rs 2,753.

Reliance is up 1% at Rs 1,275.

ONGC has slipped over 1% to Rs 871.
