Sensex up 94pts; Dr.Reddy's soars 4%

The Sensex is now up 94 points at 15,413.

Dr.Reddy's has soared 3.8% to Rs 665. NTPC has surged 3% to Rs 179.

Cipla and ICICI Bank have rallied around 2.5% each to Rs 172 and Rs 906, respectively.

Maruti has gained 1.7% at Rs 883. ITC and Ranbaxy have advanced around 1.5% each to Rs 173 and Rs 398, respectively.

Hindalco has moved up 1.3% to Rs 160. BHEL and HDFC Bank are up over 1% each at Rs 1,912 and Rs 1,185, respectively.

ONGC has shed 1.5% to Rs 844. Bajaj Auto, Wipro and Bharti Airtel are down around 1% each at Rs 2,316, Rs 478 and Rs 872, respectively.

Out of 2,716 stocks traded so far, 1,927 have advanced, 746 have declined and 43 are unchanged.
