Sensex up 96pts; ACC drops 2%

The Sensex is now up 96 points at 19,188.

Satyam and Infosys have zoomed 4.7% each to Rs 423 and Rs 1,715, respectively. TCS has surged 2.4% to Rs 1,046, and Wipro has added 1.8% to Rs 492.

Reliance Energy has soared over 4% to Rs 1,960. Mahindra & Mahindra has rallied 2.3% to Rs 796, and Tata Motors has advanced nearly 2% to Rs 704.

ONGC and DLF have gained 1.5% each at Rs 1,199 and Rs 965, respectively. Hindalco is up over 1% at Rs 201.

ACC has plunged 2% to Rs 1,010. Cipla has shed 1.5% at Rs 212.

BHEL and ITC have slipped over 1% each to Rs 2,373 and Rs 197, respectively.

Out of 2,923 stocks traded so far, 1,569 have declined, 1,325 have advanced and 29 are unchanged.
