Sensex up 96pts; HDFC, Infosys weak

The Sensex is now up 96 points at 13,527.

Reliance Energy (REL) has surged 3% to Rs 532. Satyam has spurted 2.3% to Rs 451, and Hindalco has added 2% to Rs 175.

Bharti Airtel, TCS, Reliance Communications and Dr.Reddy's have moved up around 1.7% each to Rs 615, Rs 1,134, Rs 416 and Rs 735, respectively.

Wipro, Maruti and Gujarat Ambuja are up around 1.5% each at Rs 564, Rs 884 and Rs 136, respectively.

HDFC has slipped 1.4% to Rs 1,643, and Infosys is down 1% at Rs 2,229.

Out of 2,342 stocks traded so far, 1,713 have advanced, 556 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
