Sensex up 97pts; breadth slightly positive

The Sensex is now up 97 points at 13,566.

ICICI Bank has surged 4.7% to Rs 923, and HDFC Bank has advanced over 4% to Rs 1,122. SBI has gained 3.3% to Rs 1,218.

Gujarat Ambuja and ACC have rallied 2.7% each to Rs 141 and Rs 1,047, respectively. Grasim has moved up 1.5% to Rs 2,747.

Satyam has spurted 1.5% to Rs 434. Reliance is up nearly 1% at Rs 1,274.

Marurti has slipped 1.4% to Rs 892. ONGC and Infosys are down around 1% each to Rs 872 and Rs 2,204, respectively.

The market breadth is slightly positive - out of 2,365 stocks traded so far, 1,238 have advanced, 1,036 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
