Sensex up 97pts; ONGC, HDFC weak

The Sensex is now up 97 points at 13,793.

Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors and SBI have soared nearly 3% each to Rs 2,720, Rs 832 and Rs 1,351, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's have rallied 2.5% to Rs 770, and Maruti has advanced 2% to Rs 944.

Reliance Communications and Reliance Energy have surged 1.7% each to Rs 437 and Rs 537, respectilely. Ranbaxy has moved up 1.5% to Rs 378.

Reliance, NTPC, HLL, Larsen & Toubro, ITC and Wipro are up over 1% each.

ONGC and HDFC have slipped over 1% each to Rs 852 and Rs 1,632, respectively.

Out of 2,553 stocks traded so far, 1,643 have advanced, 821 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
