Sensex up 98pts in early trades

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 60 points at 10,755. The index touched a high oof 10,796, and is now up 98 points at 10,793.

Larsen & Toubro and Wipro have surged 1.7% each to Rs 2,302 and Rs 510, respectively.

Hindalco, Tata Motors, Satyam and Grasim are up over 1% each.

Reliance Communications has slipped 1% to Rs 251.
