Sensex up 98pts; market breadth very -ve

The Sensex is now up 98 points at 11,610.

Tata Steel and Reliance Communications have gained 2% each at Rs 518 and Rs 295, respectively.

Maruti, Reliance Energy, Hero Honda and Hindalco are up over 1.5% each at Rs 855, Rs 456, Rs 708 and Rs 164, respectively.

ONGC, Gujarat Ambuja, Reliance and Wipro are also holding smart gains.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 1,783 stocks traded so far, 1,286 have advanced, 443 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
