Sensex up 99pts; breadth still -ve

The Sensex is now up 99 points at 12,805.

ICICI Bank and Reliance Energy have surged over 3.5% each to Rs 854 and Rs 493, respectively.

ITC, HLL and Hero Honda have rallied around 2% each to Rs 144, Rs 188 and Rs 647, respectively.

SBI has advanced 1.7% to Rs 968. Infosys and Tata Steel are up 1% each at Rs 2,078 and Rs 428, respectively.

HDFC has shed 1.7% to Rs 1,540. Dr.Reddy's and Ranbaxy are down around 1% each at Rs 673 and Rs 333, respectively.

Out of 2,475 stocks traded so far, 1,300 have declined, 1,086 have advanced and 89 are unchanged.
