Sensex up marginally, Tata Steel gains 2%

The Sensex is moving in a narrow range, and is now up 15 points at 20,119.

Hindalco is still up over 2% at Rs 214.Cipla has moved up 2% to Rs 208.

Tata Steel has moved up nearly 2% at Rs 905.

ITC and Ranbaxy continue to trade with gains of over 1% each at Rs 199 and Rs 415, respectively.

HDFC has slipped over 1% to Rs 3,095.

Bharti has recovered some ground, but is still down nearly 1% at Rs 981.

Tech and auto scrips are trading on a weak note.

Advances are ahead of declines over 3:1 - out of 2,537 scrips traded till now, 2,054 have logged gains.
