Sensex up over 250pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex is now up 258 points at 14,683.

SBI is still up nearly 5% (Rs 71) at Rs Rs 1,537. ICICI Bank has gained 3.8% to Rs 866.

Reliance is holding 2% gains at Rs 1,811.

M&M has moved up 2.7% to Rs 657.  Maruti is steady at Rs 809 - up 2.4%. NTPC is still up 2% at Rs 168. Hindalco is steady at Rs 147 - up 3%.

Tata Steel, Reliance Energy, Grasim and RCom are also trading with gains.

Market breadth continues to be positive - out of 2,489 scrips traded till now, 1,919 have logged gains.
