Sensex up over 300pts, Wipro gains 4%

The Sensex has gained over 300 points to 17,968.

Satyam is still up nearly 8% at Rs 419. Infosys has advanced nearly 6% to Rs 1,591. TCS is now up over 5% at Rs 920. Wipro has added 4% at Rs 430.

Tata Motors is steady at Rs 752 - up 6%. Tata Steel is holding 5% gains at Rs 771.

HDFC is still up over 5% at Rs 2,990.

ITC has added nearly 4% at Rs 202. ONGC is also up over 4% at Rs 1,030.

Bharti has moved up 3% to Rs 887. Bajaj is still up 3% at Rs 2,441. Cipla has added 3% at Rs 195. Maruti is up 3% at Rs 877.

Market breadth is still negative - out of 2,700 scrips traded, 1,700 have declined.
