Sensex zooms 200pts at 12,052

The Sensex touched a high of 12,054, and is now up 200 points at 12,052.

Cement stocks continue to witness aggressive buying. Grasim has soared 7.5% to Rs 2,527. Gujarat Ambuja has flared up 6.7% to Rs 124, and ACC has surged 6.3% to Rs 1,012.

Hindalco has rallied 5% to Rs 224. Tata Steel has gained over 2% to Rs 648.

SBI and Cipla have advanced 3% each to Rs 909 and Rs 261, respectively.

Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto are up over 2% each at Rs 949 and Rs 3,005, respectively.

There is not a single loser among the Sensex stocks.

Out of 2,343 stocks traded so far, 1,806 have advanced, 475 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
