Sensex zooms 238pts

The Sensex has zoomed 2.9% (238 points) to 8,461.

Reliance has moved up Rs 29 (4%) to Rs 778. HLL is still up Rs 5 at Rs 175, and ITC is also up Rs 5 (4%) to Rs 143. ONGC has gained Rs 16 to Rs 1,005. SBI is up Rs 20 at Rs 910.

Infosys has gained Rs 73 (3%) to Rs 2,473. Satyam is up 4% (Rs 21) at Rs 541, and TCS has added Rs 43 to Rs 1,454.

BHEL has added Rs 41 (3.8%) to Rs 1,142. Bharti has gained over 3% (Rs 11) to Rs 350. HDFC is up Rs 31 at Rs 987.

Tata Steel is still up Rs 12 at Rs 415. Reliance Energy, L&T and Hindalco are also trading at higher levels.
