Sensex zooms 305pts to 11,952

The Sensex zoomed to a high of 11,957, and is now up 305 points at 11,952.

Cipla has soared 6% to Rs 263. ONGC has surged nearly 5% to Rs 1,387. HDFC has advanced 3.6% to Rs 1,300.

Tata Steel has surged 5.3% to Rs 656. Hindalco has spurted 4.3% to Rs 215.

Maruti has zoomed 6% to Rs 920. Tata Motors has rallied 4.7% to Rs 960. Bajaj Auto has gained over 4% at Rs 2,953.

ACC has spurted 5% to Rs 969. Wipro has zoomed nearly 4% to Rs 547.

Out of 2,555 stocks traded so far, 1,624 have advanced, 865 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
