Sensex zooms 84pts, SBI gains 2%

The Sensex has zoomed 84 points to 14,496.

Reliance Energy has gained 4% (Rs 22) to Rs 560.

L&T is still up 4% at Rs 2,105. BHEL is now up nearly 4% (Rs 53) at Rs 1,483.

SBI has gained nearly 2% (Rs 25) to Rs 1,450.

Hindalco, Reliance Communications and HDFC are trading with gains of 2% each.

Oil scrips continue to trade with firm gains. Chennai Petro is still up 13% at Rs 284. HPCL, BPCL and Indian Oil are up nearly 4% each.
