Sensex zooms past 11,650

The Sensex has zoomed 95 points to 11,659.

Reliance has added Rs 7 to Rs 836. ITC is up Rs 3 at Rs 202. SBI is up Rs 5 at Rs 989.

BHEL has gained Rs 21 to Rs 2,319. L&T is up Rs 34 at Rs 2,525.

Bajaj has added Rs 14 to Rs 2,835. HDFC Bank has gained 2.8% (Rs 21) to Rs 794. ICICI Bank is up Rs 15 at Rs 619.

Cement, pharma and metal scrips have opened on a firm note.
