Sensex zooms past 7,700

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 14 points at 7,683. The index is now up 43 points at 7,712.

Infosys is up a per cent (Rs 20 ) at Rs 2,282. TCS is up over a per cent (Rs 15) at Rs 1,268. Wipro and Satyam are also trading with gains.

ITC has added Rs 7 to Rs 1,670. Reliance has gained Rs 5 to Rs 713. SBI is also up Rs 5 at Rs 794.

HLL and ONGC have opened on a weak note.
