The stocks of companies engaged in the leather tanning, and footwear business have cruised along in the last three months from September to November on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
 
While there was a spurt in stock prices towards the middle of November, prices dipped towards the end, but settled higher at the end of three months.
 
Share price of Superhouse Leathers rose from Rs 14.70 on September 1, to today's close of Rs 26.55, up 80.61 per cent on the BSE.
 
During the same period the stock price of Bata India increased from Rs 73.30 to Rs 78.15, up by roughly 6.61 per cent.
 
Bhartiya International shares increased from Rs 36.90 to Rs 51.05.
 
Mirza Tanners gained from Rs 76.20 to Rs 178, up 133.59 per cent.
 
Oscar Global gained from Rs 1.20 to Rs 2.04 up 70 per cent, Sarup Tanneries from Rs 18.80 to Rs 21.50 and Liberty Shoes from Rs 125.10 to Rs 133.80.
 
Phoenix Mills rose from Rs 2630 to Rs 3749.
 
Rajesh Exports rose from Rs 21.05 Super Tannery to Rs 26.95 and Worldwide Leather Exports from Rs 9.09 to Rs 10.26.
 
Relaxo Footwears firmed up from Rs 32.79 to Rs 34.40.
 
Euro Ledar Fashion rose to Rs 7.85. Lakhani India increased from Rs 60.70 to Rs 66.50.
