Silver futures down 0.1% on reduced offtake

Reduced offtake by traders affected the trade

Silver futures for May fell Rs 56, or 0.1% to Rs 56,600 per kg in 1,389 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the March contract traded lower by Rs 31, or 0.06% to Rs 55,140 per kg in 14,933 lots.

In New York, silver lost 1.8% to $29.44 an ounce.
