Silver moved down by 0.50% to Rs 46,725 per kg in futures trade today as speculators indulged in reducing positions, tracking a weak trend in overseas markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December fell by Rs 236, or 0.50% to Rs 46,725 per kg in business turnover of 1413 lots.
Likewise, the white metal for delivery in March lost Rs 201, or 0.42% to Rs 48,087 per kg in 49 lots.

Market analysts said speculators trimmed their positions in line with a weak global trend mainly pulled down silver prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, fell by 0.46% to USD 20.65 ounce in London.
