Amid a weak trend in overseas markets, silver prices fell by Rs 130 to Rs 57,739 per kg in futures trade today.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the July delivery fell by Rs 130, or 0.22% to Rs 57,739 per kg in business turnover of 332 lots.
The May contract declined by Rs 116, or 0.21%, to Rs 56,151 per kg in 8,154 lots.
Market analysts said besides a weak trend in overseas markets, subdued demand in the spot market at prevailing higher levels mainly kept pressure on silver prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, silver fell by 1% to $31.46 an ounce in Singapore.
