Taking weak cues from Asian markets, silver prices declined 0.48% to Rs 57,231 per kg in futures trade today.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, May silver declined Rs 274, or 0.48% to Rs 57,231 per kg in business turnover of 1,097 lots.
The July delivery shed Rs 275, or 0.47% to Rs 58,760 per kg in 65 lots.
Analysts said besides weak trend in the Asian region, absence of any trigger from domestic markets, kept pressure on the silver prices at futures trade here.
Meanwhile, silver lost 0.70% to 32.72 dollar an ounce in Singapore.
