Simplex Infra surges on Reliance Mutual Fund buying

Reliance Capital Mutual Fund A/C Rel Tax Saver (ELSS) Fund bought 1,000,000 shares of Simplex Infra at Rs 275 per share.

Simplex Infrastructures has surged 10% to Rs 303 on National Stock Exchange (NSE) after Reliance Capital bought one million shares of construction and engineering company from the open market.

On November 13, Reliance Capital Mutual Fund A/C Rel Tax Saver (ELSS) Fund bought 1,000,000 shares representing 2.02% stake of Simplex Infrastructures at Rs 275, NSE bulk deal data shows.

BNP Paribas Arbitrage sold 422,240 shares of Simplex Infrastructures at Rs 275 and The Master Trust Bank of Japan Ltd HSBC Ind Equity Mother Fund sold 306,963 shares at Rs 275, the data shows.

The stock opened at Rs 286 and touched a high of Rs 305 so far on the NSE. A combined around 192,123 shares changed hands on the counter till 0945 hours on the NSE and BSE.
