In a volatile session past week, six out of the top-10 firms lost nearly Rs 36,000 crore from their market capitalisation (m-cap), with private telecom major Bharti Airtel losing the major pie from its valuation.
Besides, four companies who buck the falling trend are - ONGC, TCS, Infosys and BHEL, which added Rs 6,295.94 crore to their m-cap for the week ended February 20.
Bharti Airtel, which slipped to the 10th spot from the previous week's ninth position saw its valuation plunging by Rs 13,717.66 crore, taking its total market cap to Rs 1,05,658.76 crore. The company is in race to acquire South Africa-based Zain Telecom for $9 billion.
Shares of Bharti Airtel lost 11.49 per cent to close at Rs 278.25 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) at the end of Friday's trade.
During the week the 30-share index Sensex gained 39 points or 0.24 per cent to close at 16,191.63 points on the BSE.
Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries (RIL) maintained its numero-uno position in the list even after losing Rs 9,712.52 crore from its valuation, taking its total m-cap to Rs 3,21,870.42 crore.

Next to RIL is state-run oil firm ONGC which added Rs 1,165.68 crore to its valuation, while mining major NMDC stood at the third spot with its m-cap plunging by Rs 10,764.16 crore.
ONGC's valuation rose to Rs 2,36,484.16 crore while NMDC m-cap declined to Rs 1,81,702 crore.
Two state-run firms - NMDC and MMTC together lost Rs 10,968.41 crore from their valuation.
The total m-cap of NMDC stood at Rs 1,81,702 crore and MMTC which is at the fourth place saw its valuation falling to Rs 1,70,245 crore.
State-run power behemoth NTPC at the fifth position witnessed a decline of Rs 700.86 crore from its valuation taking its total m-cap to Rs 1,66,352.16 crore.
Outsourcing firm TCS at the 6th spot added Rs 1,624.48 crore to its valuation and IT bellwether Infosys Technologies at 7th slot saw its valuation surging by Rs 1,826.72 crore.
At the end of the week, TCS saw its valuation surging to Rs 1,46,946.58 crore and Infosys Technologies' m-cap rose to Rs 1,45,079.81 crore.
The country's largest lender SBI at the 8th place witnessed a dip in its valuation by Rs 869.79 crore, taking its total m-cap to Rs 1,20,874.8 crore.
State-owned power equipment maker BHEL inched up to 10th spot from 9th after adding Rs 1,679 crore to its valuation while Bharti Airtel slipped to 10th place after losing Rs 13,717.66 crore from its m-cap.
The total market valuation of BHEL rose to Rs 1,15,233 crore and Airtel stood at Rs 1,05,658.76 crore.
