Slide continues... Sensex drops 310pts

The Sensex is now down 310 points at 13,711.

Grasim has plunged 6% to Rs 2,275, and ACC has slumped 5.5% to Rs 910. Gujarat Ambuja has dropped 4% to Rs 122.

ICICI Bank has tumbled nearly 5% to Rs 903. HDFC Bank and Tata Motors have shed around 4% each to Rs 948 and Rs 807, respectively.

Wipro, Ranbaxy, Dr.Reddy's and Bharti Airtel are down around 3.5% each.

Out of 2,581 stocks traded so far, 2,145 have declined, 392 have advanced and 44 are unchanged.
