Small sugar prices rose at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to increased demand from stockists and bulk consumers amid good retail offtake.
On the other hand, medium variety ended mixed owing to alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Small sugar (S-30) firmed up by Rs 10/19 per quintal to Rs 2,771/2,851 from last weekend closing level of Rs 2,761/ 2,832.
Medium sugar (M-30), however were quoted at Rs 2,861/ 2,991 per quintal as compared to Rs 2,841/3001 last Saturday.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,771/2,851 (Rs 2,761/2,832)
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,861/2,991 (Rs 2,841/3001)
