Snowman Logistics has surged on the BSE after posting a 144% jump in net profit for the March 2014 quarter. The stock is quoting at Rs 88, higher by 5% on the BSE. The stock has hit a high of as much as 8% at Rs 89 and a low of Rs 87 thus far.
The company posted a net profit of Rs 14.25 crore for the quarter ended March 2015 compared to Rs 5.84 crore in the quarter ended December 2014. The company's net sales stood at Rs 53.84 crore in Q4 2015 as against Rs 51.29 crore in the quarter ended December 2014. During the year, the company recorded sales of Rs.202.93 crore compared with Rs.153.41 crore, a growth of 32%.
The counter has witnessed a jump in trading volumes, with 3.17 lakh shares trading on the BSE during the day as against the 2-week average of 0.5 lakh shares.
