Som Distilleries surges 19% as it starts supply of Black Fort Beer

Som Distilleries & Breweries soared 19% to Rs 144 on BSE in intra-day trade after the company announced that it has started the supply of Black Fort Beer to Karnataka.

The company said it expects to get a considerable market share in the short term as the response from consumers and the trade is very encouraging.

Further, the company shall be launching out its mainline brands next month in Karnataka, it added.

At 10:33 am; the stock was up 14% at Rs 139 on BSE as compared to 0.33% rise in the S&P BSE Sensex. A combined 100,324 shares changed
