Productivity enhancement, post harvest support, nutritional security and development of high yielding and early maturing soybean varieties which are also suitable in drought conditions along with levy of a Rs 1,000 per tonne cess on imported edible oil for oilseed development were some of the issues presented to the Madhya Pradesh government by the soybean oil producers, Rajesh Agarwal, chairman of the Soybean Processors Association of India (SOPA) said.
