In limited deals, prices of soyabean and palmolein oils traded marginally lower by Rs 10 per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on reduced offtake amid weak global trend.
However, non-edible oils remained quiet in the absence of worthwhile activity.
Traders said reduced offtake by millers amid weak global trend, mainly led to fall in wholesale soyabean and palmolein oil prices.
Meanwhile, palm oil futures for the January-delivery contract dropped 1 per cent to $981 a metric tonne on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange.
In the national capital, soyabean refined mill delivery (Indore) and palmolein (rbd) oils traded lower by Rs 10 each to Rs 5,340 and Rs 5,240 per quintal.
