Barring a rise in soyabean refined oil, prices today generally ruled flat in the wholesale oils and oilseeds market.
Traders said firming trend in overseas market and pick up in local demand, due to the ongoing marriage season, mainly pushed up soyabean refined oil prices.
Meanwhile, palm oil futures for delivery in May gained 1.5 per cent to $1,158 a metric tonne, on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange.
In the national capital, soyabean refined mill delivery oil (Indore) rose by Rs 20 to Rs 6,280 per quintal.
