Spices Board would be celebrating 24th year of its formation tomorrow.
Constituted by an Act of Parliament, the board, based here, came into existence in 1987 through the amalgamation of Spices Export Promotion Council and the Cardamom Board.
The celebrations would be held under the leadership of V J Kurian, Board Chairman, a press release said.
Leading writer, poet and film lyrics writer, Murugan Kattakada will be Chief Guest.
Kurian will give away awards to the children of the employees who have excelled in various public examinations.
The Board's employees are also staging a varieity of entertainment programmes to commemorate the event being organised by the Spices Board Staff Club.
