There was no change in the pattern of trading on the wholesale kirana market today as select spices remained weak on increased arrivals while a few others looked up on retailers buying support.
Traders said some buying by retailers to meet the ongoing marriage season demand mainly pushed up prices of select wholesale spices.
Jeera common and best quality remained in demand and traded higher by Rs 200 each each to Rs 14,000-14,200 and Rs 15,600-16,100 per quintal, respectively.
Watermelon kernel also saw demand and moved up by Rs 25 to Rs 165 per kg.
