Srei Infra Fin gets block deal boost

Srei Infrastructure Finance jumped 6.77 per cent to Rs 106.50 after a block deal of 25.2 lakh shares changed hands at BSE. The stock opened at Rs 101.40, went to a high of Rs 110.70 and a low of Rs 101 and finally settled at Rs 106.50.
 
The company is just Rs 4 short of achieving its 52-week high. A total of 33,80,399 shares were traded at the BSE. It is a non-banking finance institution with a focus on infrastructure, sector since 1989.
 
The NBFC announced on August 29 that it had picked up a majority stake in the Andhra Pradesh government-promoted venture fund as a part of public"�private partnershp initiative.
