Steel ends steady in thin trade

Steady conditions developed on the local steel and iron market today as prices moved in a narrow range in restricted buying activity due to the rainy season and settled around previous levels. 

Traders said restricted activity due to the rainy season mainly kept steel prices steady.

Following are today's quotations per tonne:
