Steel prices remain flat in thin trade

There was not much activity on the local steel and iron market today as prices continued to trade in a tightrange in restricted buying and settled around previous levels.

Traders said restricted activity due to paucity of funds mainly kept steel prices steady.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per tonne:
