Quiet conditions were seen on the local wholesale steel market today with prices after moving in a tight-range on some deals, closed around previous closing.
Arrivals and offtake too remained at a low ebb and volume of business restricted.
Traders said absence of worthwhile activity amid tight money market conditions mainly kept steel prices unaltered.
