Still range-bound, Sensex up 11pts

The Sensex continues to move in the same narrow range of 40-odd points (11,560-11,600). The index is now up 11 points at 11,583.

Hindalco has moved up nearly 2% to Rs 176, and Larsen & Toubro has added 1.5% to Rs 2,387.

Ranbaxy, Gujarat Ambuja, HLL, Grasim and SBI are up around 1% each at Rs 394, Rs 115, Rs 239, Rs 2,224 and Rs 912, respectively.

Cipla has slipped 2% to Rs 242. HDFC has dropped 1.5% to Rs 1,261.

Bajaj Auto, Infosys, BHEL and HDFC Bank are the other notable losers.

Out of 2,450 stocks traded so far, 1,382 have advanced, 993 have declined and 75 are unchanged.
