BROKERAGE CALLS | Analysts upbeat on Dalmia Bharat after proposed acquisition of JP Associate assets

Morgan Stanley gives an overweight call on Dalmia Bharat, says JP Assoc asset acquisition will help diversify geographical footprint, a step towards co’s vision of becoming a pan-India player.

Jefferies gives a buy call on Dalmia Bharat, says the acquisition if fructified, will enable Dalmia to expand its footprint. Deal timelines, addl required capex, limestone reserves key questions.

CLSA gives an outperform call on Dalmia Bharat, says valuation of $73/t for JP Assoc assets lower than new capacity costs. Deal, once consummated, would address geographical concentration risk.
