The European Commission has terminated the anti-dumping proceedings against Moser Baer India with respect to manufacturing of recordable compact disks (CD-Rs).

In May 2002, the European Commission had initiated an anti-dumping investigation into the alleged dumping of CD-Rs by Moser Baer into the European markets.

Subsequent to extensive on and offsite investigations, the commission had informed interested parties in January 2003 that its investigation did not reveal any evidence of dumping by Moser Baer.

The board of state-run Bank of Baroda has approved a proposal to return Rs 91.9 crore of capital against recapitalisation bonds to the government, the bank said in a notice to National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday.

 

The bank has also set a total dividend of Rs 6 per share, including an interim dividend of Rs 2 per share.

Bank of Baroda posted a net profit of Rs 773 crore for the year ended March on a revenue of Rs 7,360 crore. The total revenue included Rs 3,505 crore from treasury operations, a bank statement said.
