Strides Arcolab surged by 6.94 per cent to close at Rs 70.15 after the firm announced the termination of its licence and supply agreement with the US drug company KV Pharmaceutical, due to certain negative developments at the US firm.
The scrip opened at Rs 66.55 and touched a high of Rs 76 and low of Rs 66 during intraday trade. A total of 296,000 shares changed hands on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
