Sugar prices rose further at the Vashi wholesale market here today on better demand from stockists and retailers in view of the ensuing festival season.
Medium sugar quality (M-30) firmed up by Rs 10/30 per quintal to Rs 2,590/2,670 from overnight closing level of Rs 2,580/2,640.
Small sugar quality (S-30) also moved up Rs 20 per quintal to Rs 2,565/2,620, as against Rs 2,565/2,600 previously.

Small sugar (S-30) quality Rs 2,565/2,620 (Rs 2,565/ 2,600) and Medium sugar (M-30) quality Rs 2,590/2,670 (Rs 2,580/2,640)
