Medium sugar prices moved up marginally at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to fresh demand from stockists.
Meanwhile, small sugar continued to trade weak on reduced buying. Medium sugar quality (M-30) gained Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,710/2,790 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 2,700/ 2,790.
However, small sugar quality (S-30) eased by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,660/2,710 as against Rs 2,660/2,720 previously.
