Sugar millgate prices eased by Rs 5 per quintal in the national capital today following ample supply against reduced offtake by stockist.
Market analysts said increased arrivals from mills against reduced offtake by stockist kept pressure on millgate prices.
However, sugar spot prices maintained overnight levels on some support.
Sugar Mawana and Budhana eased marginally by Rs 5 each to Rs 2,910 and Rs 2,700 per quintal, respectively.
Following were today's quotation in Rs per quintal.
Sugar ready M-30 2,900-3,000 and S-30 2,870-2,990.
Mill delivery M-30 2,700-2,890 and S-30 2,675-2,865.
Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinonni 2,870, Asmoli 2,850, Mawana 2,810, Titabi 2,810, Thanabhavan 2,700, Budhana 2700 and Dorala 2,800.
