Sugar prices rise on higher advice

Sugar millgate prices went up by Rs 20 per quintal in New Delhi today on higher millers advice, amid renewed buying support.

Traders said, restricted supply and sustained demand from stockists and bulk consumers pushed up sugar prices. 

Among millgate section, sugar Thanabhavan rose by Rs 20 to Rs 2,980 per quintal.

Sugar Budhana also improved by Rs 20 to Rs 2,970 per quintal.

Sugar ready M-30 3,100-3,250 and S-30 3,075-3,225
Mill delivery M-30 2,850-3,050 and S-30 2,840-3,040
