Sugar prices recovered moderately at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to fresh buying by stockists and retailers.
Medium sugar quality (M-30) firmed up by Rs 40 per quintal to Rs 2,710/2,820 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 2,670/2,780.
Small sugar quality (S-30) also gained by Rs 30/40 per quintal to Rs 2,680/2,750 as against Rs 2,650/2,710 previously.
